A SUCCESSFUL AMERICAN SHARES THE SECRETS OF HER SUCCESS WITH THE BULGARIANS

January 23, 2013

Following the recent visit of the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, another successful Amer-ican woman pays a visit to Bulgaria. Wendy Lewis is on the Direct Selling News’ (DSA) list The Most Influential Women in Direct Selling. According to Wendy, the success of Jeu-nesse® Global, a company that specializes in selling innovative skincare and nutritional products for both men and women, is not difficult to explain. Her

formula of success is easy–to work with leaders and distributors, and help all those who need help. Wendy thinks that the direct sales business opportunity is unique in the sense that everybody has an equal chance to participate and profit from it. “It does not matter what level of education you have,” says Wendy, “you just have to listen to what your clients say.” As any woman would be, she is happy that she managed to combine her responsibilities towards her family with those of such a successful business.

Having reached the pinnacle of success, she feels a strong sense of responsibility to help those in need. In 2012, Wendy and her husband Randy’s charity organization Jeunesse Kids™ partnered with Global Village Foundation to organize a charity project aimed at helping physically challenged people and refugees in Bulgaria. Please read below for an interview with Wendy regarding Jeunesse® and Jeunesse Kids™.

INTERVIEWER. Mrs. Lewis, how long have you been in direct sales?WENDY LEWIS. About 18 years.INTERVIEWER. What does it mean for you to be in the DSA’s top 20 list of most influential women in direct selling?WENDY LEWIS. It is a great honor for me.INTERVIEWER. Why have you founded Jeunesse Kids™?WENDY LEWIS. We just want those who have means to share them and help those in need. As my husband Randy likes to say, “We want to feed all boys and girls who are hungry.” As a child, he was very poor and did not have enough food. He often went to bed feeling hungry. Trying to fight this feeling of hunger, he even went so far as to try and eat mud.INTERVIEWER. Why did you decide to help people with physical disabilities in Bulgaria?WENDY LEWIS. We are trying to help all the people who need our help, to make them happier.INTERVIEWER. What is the relationship between Jeunesse® Global, Global Village, and its founder–Yank Barry?WENDY LEWIS. Jeunesse® Global and Global Village have joined in partnership to try to fight hunger in many places of the world. We are proud to pursue this mission together with Global Village.INTERVIEWER. Are you planning on distributing your products in Bulgaria?

WENDY LEWIS. We happily welcome the idea of distributing our products in Bulgaria.INTERVIEWER. When?WENDY LEWIS. We do not have the exact date, but I think at the end of 2013. We are in the process of registering our products in Europe at this time. Once this is completed, we will be able to distribute our products.INTERVIEWER. Is Jeunesse Kids™ planning on helping those in need in Bulgaria on a regular basis?WENDY LEWIS. That is our goal. When we start selling our products in Bulgaria, we will give part of our revenue to those in need.INTERVIEWER. Are you planning on visiting Bulgaria again in the future?WENDY LEWIS. Yes. Randy and I have been to Bulgaria before and we are going to return here again in 2013, when the process of registration is over.INTERVIEWER. What advice could you give to working Bulgarian women, based on your own experience?WENDY LEWIS. We believe that we have the best program in the world for women who want to be financially independent. Our greatest advantage is in the fact that everybody needs our products. They secure your beauty and health for many years. Our program was particularly developed for women who need some additional income or a part time job; they can work whenever they want to.INTERVIEWER. Thank you.
