To come up with new, innovative responses that are fundable and actionable.

To show the value of artistic education and its ability to expand other disciplines.

outcomesMonthly interviews:

Each month, articulator releases a long-form interview with a Sacramento-based artist, covering their work, influences, and personal history, while also moving deeper into topics related to their community, the challenges they see, and their ideas for a better and more inclusive Sacramento.

Quarterly Workshops:Featured artists, alongside topic experts, will be invited to participate in a group workshop to generate and foster ideas in response to a much-debated issue. We intend to bring together people who do not frequently interact, to share perspectives and generate fresh ideas on the given topic. These ideas are captured, cataloged, and are made public through the articulator website.

Artist Talks:Artists speak to various groups about their work, their story, and the benefits of the creative process and creative problem-solving.

Annual Publication:

A compilation of the year’s interviews with accompanying images of their work and portrait, will be published in a printed publication.
