Technical and expert demonstration of the virtual articulator “CeramillArtex®” for the Ceramill Map400/Map600 and Ceramill Mind – the functional interface between manual and digital dental technology. Design of a three-unit, fully anatomical bridge by the participant unter the guidance and support of the trainer.

Aim

Instructions on the “Ceramill Artex®” virtual articulator with the aid of the Ceramill Map400 or Map600 scanner and the Ceramill Mind design software.

Procedure

_ Basic requirements for operating the “Ceramill Artex®” virtual articulator _ Creating file cards for the scan with the “Ceramill Artex®” virtual articulator _ Scan procedure using a demonstration case or maximum of a three-unit,

fully anatomical bridge by the participant in the laboratory under the guidance of the trainer _ Design of the demonstration case/scanned bridge by the participant under the guidance of the trainer _ Step-by-step descriptions on designing full anatomy using the virtual articulator

_ Computer literacy is essential _ Activated dongle for the “Ceramill Artex®” virtual articulator _ Articulated upper/lower models in the Artex® CR with a maximum of a three-unit, fully anatomical

bridge scanned by the participant in the laboratory _ Calibrated transfer kit for buccal scan _ Re-assigning with first design in the virtual articulator (will be completed under the

guidance of the online trainer) _ When using the virtual articulator for the first time, do not relieve/spot grind the models!
