IN ORDER FOR THE DRAGON NATURALLYSPEAKING SOFTWARE TO WORK EFFICIENTLY WITH VARIOUS SOFTWAR
E APPLICATIONS, YOUR COMPUTER MUST HAVE THE OPTIMAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS LISTED
BELOW: 1.6 GHz processor (for example, Pentium, quad core i3, i5, i7), or equivalent AMD processor
Faster processors will yield faster performance 3 GB RAM 3 GB free hard disk space Microsoft Windows XP (SP1 or higher) Home and Professional, 2000 (SP4 or higher) Windows Vista/Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 8 ( 32/64bit) Quality Nuance Approved USB Microphone.[B] Best unit that is available in Australia is the NC181 USB Microphone Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher DVD-ROM drive (required for installation) Speakers (required for playback of recorded speech and text to speech features)

Dragon can work well on a laptop or a desktop
EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO BRING HIS OR HER OWN CPU OR LAPTOP COMPUTER.
In addition, a monitor, keyboard, and mouse will be needed. However, should there be financial constraints due to rehabilitation plan limits, VRS can loan these to the student while in attendance for their training.
EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO PURCHASE DRAGON NATURALLYSPEAKING PROFESSIONAL (OR PREMIUM) SOFTWARE AS WELL AS A HEADSET AND USB POD. (SEE PRICE SHEET)
