    1 (a) Draw and explain the internal architecture is 8086 microprocessor. (b) Explain the I/O addressing capability and instruction used for I/O addressing. Give

    suitable examples. 2 (a) Explain the memory management unit of 80286 processors. (b) Explain the functionality and role of 80288 system bus controller in 80286. 3 (a) Explain how 80386 can be moved to protected mode. (b) Describe the register organization of 80486 microprocessor. 4 (a) Describe the mechanism used to reduce the branching delay in Pentium processor. (b) Draw and explain the internal structure of Pentium pro microprocessor. 5 (a) List out the enhanced features of Pentium processor as compared to 8086 family. (b) Explain the salient features of superscalar processor architecture. 6 (a) Explain the interfacing of DMA controller to the 8086 microprocessor.
