The McCracken CountyBoard of Education willrecieve bids for theconstruction of thereferenced project asdescribed herein and perthe Contract Documents.
Generally, the projectconsists of replacementof the existing fluid cooler.
Major divisions of workinclude but are notlimited to : demolition;HVAC; testing; adjusting;& balancing; andelectrical.
Sealed bids will be re-cieved at 2:00 PM CST,Tuesday, February18,2020 in the BoardRoom at the McCrackenCounty Board of Educa-tion, 5347 Old BentonRoad, Paducah , Ken-tucky, at which time andplace bids will publicallyopened and read aloud.
Contract Doucments areon file at the office of theEngineer, Marcum Engin-eering, LLC, 500 South17th Street, Paducah,Kentucky and the Mc-Cracken County Board ofEducation office. Copiesof the documents will beavailable Monday, Janu-ary 27,2020 and may beobtained at PaducahBlueprint by depositing$100.00 (per completeset) made payable to Pa-ducah Blueprint. The de-posit will be refunded forthe return of completesets (in usable condition)within fourteen (14) daysafter the bid opening. NOREFUNDS WILL BEMADE AFTER THEFOURTEEN (14) DAYRETURN PERIOD.
A Pre-Bid meeting will beheld at the Concord Ele-mentary School behindthe school on Thursday,February 6,2020 at 10:00AM CST.
Bids shall be submittedwith a bid bond, payableto McCracken CountyBoard of Education, in anamount equal to five per-cent (5%) of the total bid.A certified check or bankdraft will be allowed inlieu of the Bid Bond.
The successful bidder willbe required to furnish andpay all fees for satisfact-ory Performance andPayment Bonds per theContract Documents.
No proposal shall be with-drawn for a period ofthirty (30) days. The Mc-Cracken County Board ofEducation reserves theright to reject any or allproposals,and to waiveany informalities.
