is hereby given that the McCook County Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 22 regarding an amendment of the McCook County Zoning Reg-ulations. Specifically, the County Commission will be considering adoption of the revised Official Zoning Map for McCook County.

A copy of the proposed McCook County Official Zoning Map is available for public review at the McCook County Courthouse in the County Auditor’s Office during reg-ular business hours.

McCook County is in the process of developing a Comprehensive Plan. Some of the issues addressed in this plan include transportation, population projections and future land use development. McGuire said the oppor-tunity to have two fields would allow the games to be

split between both fields so parents and players can get home at a decent time.

Next season when the field is complete, they will be able to host baseball tournaments from 8U, 10U and 12U teams and 6U where boys and girls

play together. In addition, they would play each other at home. He encourages res-idents to support the local groups as the city remodels the field and makes minor improvements at the softball field.
