Dear Business Owner and Friend, On behalf of those struggling with hunger in our community, we are asking for your support of our annual Top Hats & Ball Caps gala. This very special (and fun) event raises money to feed the hungry and provide emergency support and self-sufficiency programs for families in need. This year’s gala–A Pirate’s Life for Me–will be held on Saturday, August 17 at the Arvada Center. For nearly 36 years, Community Table (formerly the Arvada Community Food Bank) has been working to alleviate hunger across Northern Jefferson County including the communities of Arvada, Edgewater, Lakeside, Golden, Mountain View, Westminster and Wheat Ridge. Beginning in 2014, Community Table added a “hand up” to its offerings through its Bridges to Opportunity program that provides the support and resources struggling families need to lift themselves out of poverty. We’re expecting 350 guests, including business and community leaders to attend this year’s fundraising event with music, dancing, delicious food, entertainment, treasure boxes, a silent auction and even a treasure hunt. Our goal is to raise $55,000. You can help us achieve this goal by donating to the auction. Your generous donation could include merchandise, services, weekend getaways, gift cards, experiences, gift baskets or money. No donation is too small (or too large). Your tax-deductible donation helps feed the hungry and it benefits your business as well. Being part of our silent auction is a great way to show your community support, promote your products and services and advertise your business. In return for your donation, we’ll recognize your business in the event program and in the online auction catalog. And, we are happy to display marketing collateral, brochures, business cards and relevant information with your auction item. To donate, please complete the enclosed donation form that includes additional information and instructions. For questions, please contact Kimberly Wagner at 720-989-3551 or Tara Gilmore at 720-837-4082. On behalf of all the families struggling to put food on the table, thank you for your consideration and support. Sincerely, Top Hats & Ball Caps Auction Committee
