There is a “Donation Wall” in the narthex. Numbers on the envelopes

correspond with the donation amount re-quested. Remove your choice of

envelope, directions are enclosed. All do-nations will help to cover the cost of travel, food distribution in the village and a VBS program for the village children in Haiti.

Prayerfully consider making a donation for this mission. Our goal is to see all of the

envelopes removed from the wall. Thank you for your support.

Country fair

Auction — 7pm

An evening of fun and fellowship with all area church

folks!

If you would like to participate, contests are offered in

the following categories:

BAKING:

Ages 8-12—cookies

Ages 13-16—cup cakes and cakes

Ages 17 and older adults—sheet and layer cakes

Also a category for fruit and shoo-fly pies

Please bring your entries in containers not needing to

be returned.

CRAFTS:

Woodworking—Textiles—Miscellaneous

Any age are encouraged to make and donate crafts.

Donations will be judged and 1st-3rd prizes given. Be

JR/SR HIGH YOUTH CALENDAR August 7: Youth Yummies August 7: Jr.& Sr. High POOL PARTY at the Straws home. 6th graders invited. Youth mtg discussing NYC and future events.

Haiti Mission Trip Chicken BBQ Fundraiser –August 13, at Bresslers in Bethel 10am-2pm. Cost is $8.50 which includes chicken, potato, roll and drink. A sign up sheet is in the Narthex. We will also have a BAKE SALE and would welcome donations of baked goods. If you would like to bake for this, please put items in the church kitchen by Friday, Aug. 12th. Council of Churches sponsored AUGUST 27th

5PM REHRERSBURG LIONS

Come to the Fair! GROUNDS Fun, games, contests, food, entertainment The ANNUAL CONFERENCE REPORT will be given Sun. August 14th at 9:30am in the Sanctuary in place of adult classes. If you would like to sign up to attend the District Conference Event Sun. Oct. 8th, please leave a note with name and fee ($30) in the church office by Wed. August 3rd. Deiffenbach Organ Preservation Society is having a benefit recital Sunday, September 25th at Reed’s Church, 38 Mian St, Stouchsburg. This is a free recital to begin at 2pm. BRETHREN DISASTER RELIEF SALE is Fri & Sat. Sept. 23&24 at the Lebanon Valley Expo (fairgrounds). Brochures are available in the narthex.
