INTERIORS

MISSION SUITABILITY — PROVIDING AIRBORNE SECURITY, OVERHEAD AND ON-SITE

BA609 RESCUE MISSION• Typical helicopter mission time reduced by 44% with BA609

tiltrotor able to meet 97% of SAR missions

BA609 SURVEILLANCE MISSION• Coastline surveillance is achieved in one mission with one

aircraft, allowing mixed fleet consolidation

ITALY COASTLINE SURVEILLANCE• Emergency response quickly to 5X helicopter area in the same

time providing border management with existing bases

GREAT BRITIAN COASTLINE SURVEILLANCE• Speed and range advantages over helicopters for

interdiction and SAR missions, providing security

UNITED STATES HOMELAND SECURITY & SAR• Seals coastline within ONE hour response time with only 10

bases, extending coverage out to 250 miles

A NEW THRESHOLD IN GOVERNMENTSUPPORT ROLES When emergencies or disasters happen, response timebecomes the measure of success for government teams;whether the need is coastal patrol, border management, disaster relief, emergency response, emergency medicalservice, or evacuation (tsunami, hurricanes, naturaldisasters,etc.).

The difference in delivering aide may mean life and deathfor the affected areas, and when surface transport isinterrupted or too slow, airborne resources become thecritical life line for all concerned. This is where the BA609Tiltrotor unique capabilities are observed. The BA609Tiltrotor can fly, dispatching from a hover, like ahelicopter, and then quickly accelerate to the target areaat speeds up to 275 KTAS—unlike any helicopter.

Similarly, BA609 Tiltrotor may travel at ranges up to700nm and altitudes up to 25,000 feet in pressurizedcomfort, IFR, through icing conditions, like many cabinclass fixed wing aircraft, and then BA609 Tiltrotor maydescend directly from 25,000 feet to a rescue scene at sealevel, into a hover, for hoist recovery of up to 6 people—unlike any fixed wing.

This unique HYBRID aircraft delivering both helicopterand fixed wing performance, will be most appreciated bythose missions requiring quick, point-to-point response.Suddenly the consolidation of airborne missions arepossible leading to reduced life cycle costs for somemixed fleets, while improving response times. New basingand deployment options become possible as well whenconsidering integrating the BA609 Tiltrotor.

And with the quietest flyover noise signature of any VTOL,with very efficient fuel economy (+3X advantage oversome helicopters and +50% advantage over some fixedwings), the BA609 Tiltrotor offers a ECO-friendly set ofoperating characteristics allowing improving success inmany Government Support roles.
