The Ranch Golf and Country Club is built on the former Flying Red Wheel Ranch. In 2011, Score Magazine ranked The Ranch Golf and Country Club #2 Best Public Golf Course in Edmonton, and #14 Best in Alberta.

Designed by Western Golf Projects to offer the golfer variety, the course features traditional challenges that test your skills with mature natural forest, ponds and stone creek beds. For a little taste of Scotland, our architect has interwoven numerous links style holes. Variety is truly the spice of life and the mark of a great course.

RULES OF PLAY

• Golf Canada rules govern all play except where modifi ed by local rules.

• OUT OF BOUNDS - as marked by white stakes and/or fences bordering the course. (Rule 27)

• GROUND UNDER REPAIR - includes material piles for removal, new tree wells, and fl ower beds made by the greens keeper, even if not marked. The ball may be dropped, one club length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty. (Rule 25)

• OBSTRUCTIONS - are anything artifi cial, including all staked trees, paved roads and paths, oil wells, course markings, fences other than boundary fences, buildings, sprinkler heads, etc. No penalty. (Rule 24)

• LATERAL WATER HAZARDS - are marked with red stakes. (Rule 26)
