FAMOUS ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE

Artist Silvia Pardo recently took courses at Celebrity Centre in Mexico and has gone on to train at the Flag Land Base. She is a renowned painter in Mexico and has been hailed by the Minister of the Interior of the Mexican Govern­ment, in an address before the Congress, as one of the most important women in Mexican history. The International Art Exhibition is honored to include several of Miss Pardo's paintings in its collection.

Perhaps as well-known for his participation in "psychic" research as for his extraordinary canvases, artist-poet-scholar Ingo Swann has been involved for the past two decades in the creation of a metaphysical art form. His most recent works of "cosmic art", such as the one shown below, have been inspired by out-of-the-body explorations of the Universe. Recently the author of a book entitled, To Kiss Earth Good­bye, Swann will be one of the featured speakers at "Presentations on the Theme," Thursday after­noon.

The REVEREND JANE KEMBER, Guardian Worldwide of the Churches of Scientology, is well known by Scientologists the world over. Under her able direction, the growth and involvement of the Churches in humanitarian purposes has expanded tremendously over the past years. Reverend Kember will be speaking at the Conference and delivering a sermon which will highlight the International Human Rights Prayer Day.

Deputy Guardian for Public Relations World­wide of the Churches of Scientology, REVEREND DAVID GAIMAN, is featured host of the International Conference for World Peace and Social Reform. He will be speaking at the

Conference Grand Opening on the role of the Church in social reform throughout the world.

Opening the Friday Conference proceedings, REVEREND ARTHUR MAREN, Deputy Guardi­an of the U.S. Ministry for Public Relations will speak on the Church's activities in forwarding the goals of world peace and social reform.

REVEREND YVONNE JENTZSCH, Executive Director of Celebrity Centre, Los Angeles, is a friend to Scientology celebrities throughout North America. Yvonne has dedicated herself to the enhancement of personalities in all of the performing and fine arts, science, government— leaders in all fields of endeavor. Yvonne will be hostess of the Presentations on the Theme, occurring Thursday afternoon, August 26th.

ROBERT F. LYONS, distinguished actor and student of Scientology, will host Thursday evening's Grand Opening Ceremonies, as well as contribute to Presentations on the Theme, Wednesday afternoon. Besides participating in the Event activities, Lyons will be featured in "Scientologists in the Movies" in a film combin­ing his best cinema roles.

Renowned concert pianist, Mario Feninger, will perform in honor of L. Ron Hubbard, followed by guest appearances of LRH's four children, Diana Hubbard Horwich, Quentin, Suzette and Ar­thur Hubbard. Reform: Scientologists will join top govern­ment, church and social reform leaders in presenting their views and accomplishments toward a saner society. Scientology social reform groups will each sponsor one or more non-Scientologist speakers. The Conference, lasting two days, will include such subjects as education, drug rehabilitation, psychiatric abuses, prison reform, civil rights, freedom of religion, freedom of information and right to privacy.

music with some of Scientology's best perform­ers. Featured artist will be award-winning pianist and composer Chick Corea. Joining Chick will be acclaimed jazz bassist Stanley Clarke and singer Gayle Moran, previously of the MahavishnuOrchestra. Human Rights Prayer Day: As a final tribute to and reaffirmation of our goals, the Church of Scientology will host the International Human Rights Prayer Day Service on Sunday after­noon. This pan-denominational service will be held in the huge arena of the Anaheim Convention Center and will feature a sermon delivered by the Reverend Jane Kember, Guardi­an Worldwide of the Churches of Scientology. Included in the service will be a special showing

of the film "Pax", 'The Factors" performed by the Church Choir with orchestra, and a Prayer for Human Rights for all Mankind.

Scientology ministers from five continents will participate in this service.
