We are blessed to have so many natural open area spaces and common areas in our community that make us feel like we truly live in the country and can also experience the wild life that these areas support. Over the past few months, we have experienced homeowners who have gone into these natural areas and removed brush and trees and left the debris laying there, then complain about how unsightly it looks after having created the unsightliness themselves. The board has had to send Coy in to conduct a cleanup of this debris at a cost of thousands of dollars to the community. It is obvious that this debris was cut by homeowners because of the cut ends on the brush and definitely to the trees which were probably cut down to open up their view. Original homeowners had to sign a waiver stating that nobody was guaranteed a view. Let me remind you that these areas do not belong to the individual homeowners but to the association, therefore, you are trespassing and destroying property. If this action continues, the board will take legal action against any homeowner who enters NAOS or common areas and cuts or removes any brush or trees, and the homeowner will be charged the fee from Coy for the removal of such debris. If you see other home owners cutting in the NAOS, stop them or call the office to notify us of the offense. Only the board can have Coy clean up these areas. The board is working with Coy currently to set up a plan during a three-year period to create fire breaks away from homes that are near those areas. Art is an impression and an interpretation of someone’s dream and is always revolving. MountainBrook pottery group is no different and we would like to thank those individuals that have shared their commitment to us. Our founders Paula McDonald, Barbara Dahlstrom, Mary Jacobs and Elsa Mugford have followed their dream and continue to show their passion for artistic impression and recently our community has grown/ transformed into a group of new participants. We would like to welcome all of our new Potters to the MountainBrook Pottery Club and look forward to many new residents joining us this upcoming season.

On January 1, 2016, your Semi-Annual Assessment increased to $430. The Street Assessment for Shadowridge I and II also increased and is now $47. (If you sent in your payment for last January’s assessment and you paid the 2015 amount, you will have a small balance due on your account.)

Please plan to send your payment about a week early to allow for mailing time or processing time if you send it electronically. Give us a call if you have any questions.

Community Corner

It has been a little over three years since Connie and I first saw Gold Canyon and particularly MountainBrook Village. For some of you the memory of first seeing the mountain and our beautiful village was much longer ago than our first experience, but I am certain that your first impression

of the beauty was much like ours. The first time was the beautiful fountain that is even more beautiful now than our first sight was, and then the natural desert look along our roadsides and the sage that was in bloom at that time. The most breathtaking sight was the mountain, which immediately said to us, this is it, now what home do we buy. After talking with so many of you, we all experienced the same thing. After we moved in, we went to the pool and observed the changing beauty of the mountain every moment. It was then we said to ourselves this is so beautiful it’s like we are living in a resort area. Nothing has changed for us since that time. We feel so blessed that we live here in MountainBrook Village to experience the joy and beauty that we have here.

Every day, residents come to me with visions of what would surely enhance our living experience here. One such vision I really love would be at the north end of the pool, that area is large enough to create at least 5 - 6 sitting areas with a gazebo over each end and a fire table in the middle of each setting area. I even had Dave Osborn draw a picture of it and it is beautiful. Can you see the vision, sitting there with the pool to one side of you and the

mountain on the other, enjoying great conversation with friends or reading a book? This is a vision I long for, but the reality is, to do this requires future development funds just the same as all of the other ideas residents come up with. I totally agree these would be good things to enhance the community we live in. With the current rate of $250 per sale, we will have to wait years to realize the visions that many of you have for our community. With your “yes” we could start as quickly as one year from the time it would be in effect to make your visions a reality, depending upon the number of home sales.

Right now we live in a critical moment as we have sent out the consent forms for your approval of the future development fund. Many residents are viewing this as just giving the board more money to throw away and spend foolishly or other negative opinions about this fund or how it is spent. The vision I have given you above is just one example of how we would like to enhance our community which is the job of the board. The more we can enhance the community, the more beautiful it becomes, and the more we enjoy it, and the more it keeps the values of your homes up that are for sale.

Saying “yes” to this consent allows us all to benefit in so many positive ways and has no down side to it, or increased costs to you, our current home owners. If in fact you love our beautiful community as much as Connie and I do, then say YES to this proposal. We ask you to be in prayer and to think hard on this to realize the great benefit this will be to our community.

In your service, Gene & Connie Prescott

What are all of our COMMITTEES up to?

Let's hear from our largest committee the ACTIVITY COMMITTEE

By Jennifer McGraw and Claudia VaughnSome people may be superstitious but you can bet this group is

not. On the second Monday of the month, a very important group (24 women and 2 men) from MountainBrook Village gather at 9am and discuss the finer points of life-entertainment, the social fund and 55+. Sounds like a pretty good gig, but this group is all about you and how they can make the next season a life changing event. The Activities committee has sub-groups that help get the job done. Kudos to Jan Pitts, Ann Melenovich and the group for providing us a party every month. Loretta Milton and the Decorating group for their weekly magic to make us look good and to the Ambassadors group Maryann Maki and Mary Peters for making our community Home Sweet Home. This year was a remarkable season and with the help of our newest group, the Lifestyle Group - Nelli Moore, Sharon Baack, MaryAnn Maki, Marilee Prichard, Diana Hager, and Jane Charpentier - we were able to reveal a great season for 2016-2017. Our door is always open and if you have a suggestion for a show next season, please contact Jennifer Mcgraw Lifestyle Director or Claudia Vaughn our Committee Chair.

Live Life and Have Fun at MountainBrook!

Those Pesky HOA AssessmentsIt’s almost that time of year again! Late May (and late

November) the Semi-Annual Assessment Statements are mailed to the “Billing” address on your account. As we’ve seen this past year, the post office has not always forwarded mail to you here in MountainBrook Village.

Out of sight, out of mind? Well no; unfortunately, we as homeowners are obligated to pay our HOA assessments whether we receive the statement or not. It’s the same as any other bill we pay, it’s due whether we receive the bill or not. You can have the statement emailed to you instead of sent by mail. We have an easy instruction sheet, pick it up at the office or we can email it to you.

FirstService Residential sends out the statements as a courtesy reminder. If you don’t receive the HOA statement, it doesn’t get you off the hook for not making the payment. Late charges will be added to your account after the 30-day grace period. MountainBrook’s semi-annual assessments are due on January 1 and July 1, and are late on the 30th of those months.

What’s an easy way to make my payment? You can set it up for automatic payment through “Bill Pay” with

your bank. It’s free. You can set up the automatic payment to be made twice a year from your bank account. If your assessment goes up or down, you will have to change the payment amount. Your bank will not automatically do that for you.

FirstService Residential has a program called “SurePay.” Your payment comes out of your bank account twice a year, on the 2nd business day of January and July. You must set this up before June 25 for the payment to be made for July 1. It’s free, and if your assessment amount changes, SurePay will make the adjustment. (SEE PAGE 7 OF MOUNTAINEER FOR FORM)

“Paylease”. You can set up your payment to be withdrawn from your bank account or credit card. Paylease charges for this service. They are an outside payment processing company. Paylease will not change the payment amount if your assessment goes up or down. You will need to call them or change it on their website. We have a “Payment Options” instruction sheet in the office or we can email it to you.

An Important Reminder about your billing address—You have 2 options for changing the address where your Statement is mailed. Come into the office and fill out the Address Change form or you can send an email to [email protected].

If you change your address on the MBV website or on the MBV Phone Directory form, this DOES NOT change your billing address for your HOA statement. Change your billing address before mid-May and/or before mid-November for the address change to take effect so your statement is mailed to the correct address. I hope you found this informative and will take advantage of one of these payment methods.

Association Fee Payments Made Easy and It's FREE by Diana Jensen

To address the question “why don’t our association fee invoices come first class so they get forwarded?”, I asked FirstService Residential for an explanation. This is the answer I received from Corporate: MBV uses a 3rd party vendor for our statement production and mailings. Our vendor ONLY uses 1st Class Mail to send out statements. In 2009 the USPS made changes and began a new program called, Move Update which requires an Ancillary Service Endorsement (Return Service Requested) to be posted on any mail piece using indicia (postal marking instead of a stamp). The best practice for receiving all important MountainBrook Village mail and billings is to sign up for eStatements (no cost) or notify us for each address change where you want your MBV mail to go. (I checked several things that I received that said 1st class with this “indicia” and yes, it said “Return Service Requested” which means it will not be forwarded.)

SO, that being said, invoices are sent first class but are not forwarded but returned as undeliverable.

If you would like to sign up for the easiest and FREE way to make sure that your Association Fees are paid, we are supplying you with a copy of the necessary form. The FirstService Residential explanation is as follows:

“FirstService Residential has a program called “SurePay”, your payment comes out of your bank account twice a year, on the 2nd business day of the months January and July. You must set this up before June 25 for the payment to be made for July 1. It’s FREE, and if your assessment amount changes, SurePay will make the adjustment.”

Cut out the form on page 7, fill it out suppling all of the required information and mail it to arrive before June 25 to:

Why are we talking about Mistletoe this time of year? by Diana Jensen

One of the more romantic Christmas traditions is kissing under a sprig of mistletoe hung from a ceiling or doorway. Those who find themselves under its green leaves might not know that this symbol of love is actually a vicious parasite that survives by sucking the nutrients from trees.

Coming from the mid-west, I thought these clumps were squirrel nests. But I could not have been more wrong. DANGER! DANGER! TO YOUR TREES.

If you see these dark green

clumps in your tree, it is in trouble. The clumps need to be removed before they kill your tree or spread to other trees. As Coy is doing regular landscaping maintenance,

they are working on eliminating the mistletoe from our common areas. All residents are being asked to be diligent about helping to keep this parasite from spreading.

This, That & Other Things

Macaroni & Cheese

by Diana JensenI was talking to

a table mate at the social the other night and he was so happy to see some crockpot Macaroni and Cheese. He loves Macaroni and Cheese. I love really good Macaroni and Cheese also. How about some of you? If you are a Macaroni and Cheese lover too, have you ever tried High Tide Seafood Bar and Grill’s Lobster Macaroni and Cheese? The serving is so large there is enough to split and take some home for lunch. If you get there for happy hour it is only $11.00. It is the best ever in my book. They are located at 2540 S. Val Vista in Gilbert.

Also AJ’s Fine Food at 1836 S. Val Vista in Mesa has a great Macaroni and Cheese in their Deli. You can eat it there, inside or outside, or take it home. While you are there, if you want a really great burger for under $6 they also have a grill outside where you can enjoy several variations of that. AJ’s isn’t just a grocery store, it is a shopping and eating experience!

Iwo Jima Flag-raising Celebration in Sacaton by Mary K. France

Saturday, February 20, 2016, eight MBV Marines, along with countless other Marines across the US, celebrated the 71st anniversary of the Iwo Jima flag-raising. The celebration started with a parade at the Gila River community in Sacaton, where Ira Hayes American Legion Post 84 hosted a jam packed day of observances and ceremonies. Pima Indian Ira Hayes was one of the six Marines who raised the US flag on Mount Suribachi. This is the second year the MBV Marines have attended this celebration.

Dance Committee by Lynnel CochraneSong title After the Ball is Over by Foster and Allen in 2006 seemed to be an appropriate way for the dance committee to start

discussing plans for the coming season. Firstly, however, we would like to thank all of YOU, our MBV friends and neighbors for coming out! We had near sell outs for many of our events and many favorable compliments about themes, decorations, our new dance/party format and, of course, some outstanding entertainment and new bands! Our final one-man band, Jared Howe, kept the floor lively for our free Thrift Shop Ball on Friday, April 8th. Over the summer, keep reading your Mountaineer as we will be sharing dates, themes and announcing the list names of bands booked for the coming year.

Men's Round Table by Diana Jensen

Men, are you looking for something to do one-to-five mornings a week from 9:00-10:30? Jim Zetting says to come on over to the Superstition Center and “Shoot the Sh..” with them. (I’m sure he meant to say that they visit, tell stories and basically solve the problems of the world.) A 25 cent donation will get you a cup of coffee and sometimes a donut. This little known group has actually been meeting for a lot of years. They are looking for new friends to join them. They meet Monday through Saturday except for Tuesday. New residents and old residents welcome, come and check them out.

THEATREBill Wash

Co-directors Kathy Whitacre and Merry Brennan watched with pride and a tear in their eyes as their cast of six actors (three of whom were on the MBV stage for their first time) entertained audiences with near flawless performances of Where There’s A Will There’s A Relative. Because the theme running through the play was the missing will, the actors presented personalized wills to Kathy and Merry in which the actors bequeathed to them, among many other personal thoughts, a vow of “WE LOVE YOU”. And, now, once again the Theatre’s curtain is drawn, the set is struck and the stage becomes quiet.........

The Theatre’s curtain will again open in 2017 to performances of The Odd Couple (Female Version), a comedy by Neil Simon. Actors awarded roles are: Cathy Longman as Olive; Karleen Huffman as Florence; Merry Brennan as Mickey; Kathy Buelow as Sylvie; Pat Hardie as Renee; Linda Belland as Vera; Roger Renstrom as Manolo; and Jim Mosier as Jesus (pronounced Hayzoos). New to the MBV stage is Linda Belland.

Linda first appeared on stage in high school, performing skits in a talent show. Linda said, “In my working days, I was comfortable making presentations and public speaking but haven’t been on stage since high school”. Linda and Doug have lived here one year and she’s been looking for ways to get more involved. Linda said she saw this year’s play and “I was impressed by the performances and became intrigued by the challenge of interpreting and acting out the role of another person on stage”. Well, I think Linda has indeed found a way to get more involved and she told me “I can’t wait for January when we all become a close knit team and start practicing our characters with each other on stage”. January is a long way off and Linda will be spending some of her summer memorizing lines (as well as golf and pickleball).

The Theatre congratulates all the actors and to them, wishes “Break A Leg”.

Artist of the MonthMay - Kathryn GarneyMy name is Kathryn Garney. My husband and I

moved to Gilbert, Arizona in 1994. After seeing the beautiful Superstition Mountain views, we moved to MountainBrook in 1998. When we moved to Arizona, I was working with United Airlines and commuted back and forth from Michigan. After about one year, I decided that was enough traveling. I began working for DHL Worldwide Express and worked there for ten years. I finally retired and was able to have time for my creative side. I love doing ceramics and all the different techniques. I went to classes and became a ceramic teacher and love helping new artists. My lovely husband bought me an embroidery machine and I was off and running. I love to personalize just about anything. I love making Southwest and Indian pictures, kitchen towels, purses, wine bottle holders and koozies. My most recent passion has been making adoption scarfs for the area’s pet rescue shelters. Most of you have probably seen me and my husband at the MountainBrook Art Festivals.

MBV Pottery ClubMountainBrook Village provides amazing natural beauty.

MountainBrook also provides us with the opportunity to pursue artistic expression in the field of pottery. The MBV Pottery Club allows residents to learn both hand-building and wheel-throwing pottery techniques through single day workshops/classes. These classes are provided by fellow MBV residents who volunteer their time and passion to pottery. Generally, workshops are offered monthly throughout the winter months. Cost for a workshop is $10 to cover materials. There are occasionally opportunities for instruction by guest artists as well.

In addition to formal workshops, residents are welcome to simply stop in the Fired Arts Center on designated pottery days (M, W, F, 8:30 to 4:30), ask questions and get your hands dirty. The club welcomes residents of all skill levels, from the novice to the experienced potter. We learn from each other in an inclusive working environment that encourages participation and community building.

The annual membership fee for the MBV Pottery Club is $25.00 (October 1 to September 30). If interested, contact one of the following:

If you are one of these talented people and would like to display some of your work give us a call and we will set up a month for you. Jan or David Larsen 307-632-1703.

Book Discussion for MayPeggy Malsom

It’s the beautiful month of May and I am still enjoying my morbid reading rampage. Dead Wake by Erik Larson recounts the true story of the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915. The vessel went down, after being torpedoed by a German U-boat killing 1,198, and led to America’s entry into World War I.

Another stunning story of one of America’s great disasters is The Johnstown Flood by David McCullough. It details the collapse of a dam which sent a wall of water down a mountain valley killing more than 2,000 mostly working-class people. Names like Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick and Andrew Mellon pepper the story which begs the question: just because people are in positions of responsibility, do they necessarily behave responsibly?

So that should be enough death and mayhem for any normal person, right? So why did I just order The Violet Hour by Katie Roiphe? It’s about great writers at the end of their lives. It is a “meditation on mortality.” Just a little light reading for a nice spring day. Oh, and the title? That’s from T.S. Eliot’s poem The Waste Land. I’m on a roll!

TENNIS TALK by Don Smeaton

The team winning the March tournament was a surprise by everyone including the team who won it. The members of the blue team (Iceland) were behind several points after the first day, but then things changed and the members succeeded by winning several unexpected matches. Tournament awards were given out by Connie Hubbell and Elaine Coomes. Gold medals were hung around the winner’s necks and cheek kisses bestowed by Elaine Coomes (just like in the Olympics). Jim Mosier gave a humorous “thank you” speech giving credit to the women tennis players who came through when it was needed.

The evening potluck was in keeping with the Olympic theme with delicious international dishes representing various countries. The special guests for the evening were Peter Cavoto and his wife Susie. The hostesses were Carole Austin and Caroline Breakey.

Jon Weiss, chair of the nominating committee, introduced the nominees for officers for the coming year. They are Diana Hager, President; Carole Austin, Vice-president, Judy Fitzpatrick, Secretary; and Marla Muscio, Treasurer.

The tennis courts have been refinished and look great. The U.S. Open colors are stunning and should make it easier to see the ball. New wind screens will be installed in October with both tennis and pickleball players assisting Dirk and George. The installation of spectator benches on the north side of the courts between the fence and sidewalk will be done this summer. A big thank you is due Rick Burman and the MBV Board for getting these projects done.

PINOCHLEby Barb Hofmeister

Thursday Evening Pinochle meets in the Sunset Room at 7 p.m. but most come 20 to 30 minutes ahead of time just to socialize. Our winners for the month had some high scores. Two even got to the coveted 600 level. On March 31 Ray Needham won the top prize with a nice score of 589---so close to 600. Early in April John Davis had 504 but Bill Sandell topped everyone with 619 on April 14. Not to be outdone Nellie Moore’s 600 on April 21 was odd because it was right on---not one point over or under. We love new players and will meet you early if you want to brush up your skills or if you’ve never played, we will teach you. Call Barb Hofmeister at 480-288-9745 for more information about learning this fun game with a strange name.

Tuesday Afternoon Ladies group reports their winners for March. First place went to Diane Rasmussen with 8 games under her belt. There were 3 second place winners: Racquel Jones, Suzanne Kadlec and Eileen Jost with 7 games apiece. With the snowbirds starting to leave, it’s a good time to learn a new game or refresh your pinochle skills. We welcome new people to join us on Tuesday afternoon from 1-3 in the Sunset Room.

OCOTILLO CENTER by Sue Wright

Let the construction begin… walls will come down!!! It is finally time for the Ocotillo Center renovation to come to life. After three years of planning, great input from the MBV residents, five potential floor plans, the pounding of nails and sawing of wood will begin.

The Center will be closed down from May 1st to approximately September 15th. That is the timeline goal presented to the Board from the contractor for the renovation start-to-finish. The first two weeks will be spent by the plan and design committee, Board and volunteers to remove items that will be used once again when the construction is complete… Repurposing and Reusing!

The floor plans are on display in the library. An addition to the center is an arts and crafts center. This area will be used by painters, stained glass designers, carvers and any other craft that can be scheduled into the area. Time was taken in the design to be sure there is a sink and adequate light for any project that can be made in this area. It is located where the old kitchen used to be when this Center was the main activity area years ago, (pre Superstition Center time).

The construction yard will be in the East parking lot. The East gate

to the pool area will be closed. Entrance to the pools will be through the North and South gates. Please keep away from the construction yard fencing for your safety and the safety of the workers.

Remember when this was the kitchen, well take a good look, because it will be no more!!!

More will come next month in the mountaineer. More pictures will be posted on the MBV web site so residents can keep up on the latest during the project.

Website Info by Chris Bukovac

Recently a couple of residents have asked about the location of the room availability information on the new website. We have been using Trumba for a while now. It is a program that displays the scheduling of the various rooms on campus for committees, groups and clubs. This is the program that Jennifer uses when she schedules them.

There is an Events page on our website. The link to open this page is under Members Home. However, if you prefer to use the scheduling software Trumba there is also a link to do so.

Go to our website, mbvaz.org. After you log in, the Members Home page opens. On the left under Links & Numbers you will see the link labeled Room Availability. Click on it. The redirect page

will have another link toward the bottom of the page, CLICK HERE TO SEE ROOM AVILABILITY PAGE.

The Trumba web page will open and all of the room schedule information is there to figure out what rooms are open if you need to use one. You can use it for finding a scheduled activity or meeting as well.

Jennifer, our Activities Director schedules all room reservations. Forms are available at the front desk to reserve rooms for ongoing activities also.

If you have any questions about our website, please contact me at [email protected].

Holy Moly, Mother of Pearl!! That's a BIG One! By Marilee Pritchard

Hopefully, you will never see a scorpion this large in your house! This fine specimen was found dead at the end of our driveway. I suspect this is a ‘Giant Hairy Scorpion’. If you locate a scorpion inside or around your house it will more than likely be a Bark Scorpion; the prevalent variety in the area.

Scorpions will make their way into your home/garage in search of food. Their favorite menu items include spiders and crickets. It would be in your best interest to be certain that your windows and doors are well sealed so the scorpion smorgasbord doesn’t take up residence inside your home. Also, hiring a pest service to spray inside and outside is an excellent choice to eliminate the food source and deter the scorpions.

However, if you or a neighbor completes yardwork and disturbs the soil you might disturb a new crop of scorpions. They will be in search of a new place to call home, so be aware and keep your eyes open, especially at night as scorpions are nocturnal. After there was yardwork completed at our neighbors’ houses, we found scorpions indoors at our house. I carried a ‘UV’ flashlight around at night inside the house as scorpions glow in the dark when you shine that type of flashlight on them. It’s kind of creepy! You will need to get the bug service back out for a respray to ‘soup up’ the protection. However, for some ‘fun’ you could take a walk outside, in the dark of night armed with the special flashlight. Shine the light around rock piles along the street. You will be amazed to see the scorpions glow in the dark among the rocks.

The object is to avoid getting stung by a scorpion. If a scorpion is on your body, brush it off, do not slap as you will probably be stung. Avoid the tail as that is where the stinger is located. Shake out shoes and piles of clothes etc., as they love dark places to hide. Rumor has it that they like to take up residence in the pool noodles everyone has in their garages. If you step on a Scorpion to try and kill it, be aware that scorpions have an exoskeleton, have as many as a 100 babies and

carry them on the outside of their body, therefore, the babies could very easily be nestled in the grooves of your shoe sole. Check the bottom of your shoes before walking on your carpet.

Some first aid suggestions you may find helpful: In most scorpion stings of adults, treatment is simply supportive and can be done at home. Wash the sting with soap and water and remove all jewelry because swelling of tissue may impede the circulation if not allowed to expand (for example, a sting on a finger that has a ring surrounding it). Apply cool compresses, usually 10 minutes on and ten minutes off of the site of the sting. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 1-2 tablets every 4 hours may be given to relieve pain (usually not to exceed 3g per 24 hours). Avoid aspirin and ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) because they may contribute to other problems. Antibiotics are not helpful unless the sting area becomes secondarily infected. Do not cut into the wound or apply suction.

Now that all of our new residents are scared to go to sleep tonight, let’s finish this article by saying that many of us have never seen a scorpion in our house. Maintenance is the key to keeping the creepy, crawlies out.

If symptoms increase in severity, go to an Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

Call Poison Control at 1 800 222 1222 if you are unsure about what to do.

by Barb HofmeisterPinochle derives from the game bezique. The French word binocle

also meant "eyeglasses".The word is also possibly derived from the French word, binage, for the combination of cards called "binocle". This latter pronunciation of the game was adopted by German speakers. German immigrants brought the game to America, where it was later mispronounced and misspelled "pinochle."

We have lost some of our long time players due to illness, death or moving from MBV, so all of us who play Pinochle on Thursday evenings in the Sunset Room are looking for some new blood or even old players who haven’t played for a while. We are a fun group, not hard core serious players. We just like the game and enjoy all who join us each and every Thursday. We usually gather between 6:30 and 6:50 just to visit. It only costs $1 to play and the money is pooled then divided up for the top 4 or

5 winners. Generally we play partners although some nights we are not even numbered so there may be one or even two 3 handed tables. (That game is a little more cutthroat but I haven’t seen any real blood yet.) To start the evening, we draw tickets and that determines at which table you will start. Once at the table, we draw cards and find our partner that way. After four hands, the winning couple advances toward the head table and the losing couple splits up to play with the next challengers. By the time we have all played 5 games and totaled our scores it is usually just about 9 pm so it is just two hours of play.

If you think you might be a little rusty or if don’t know how to play the game, please call me at 480-288-9745 and I will personally meet you in the Sunset Room at 6pm on any Thursday and we will practice before the real play begins. Let’s have fun together with this great Midwest game. There is no charge for the lesson.
