    1. The deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word (Mt. 13:22 ).2. In the last days...men shall be...covetous [literally, lovers of money]...having a form of godliness...from such turn away (2 Tim. 3:1-5).3. Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it iscertain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment letus be therewith content (1Tim. 6:7-8).4. Men...destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself (1Tim. 6:5).5. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another (Rm. 13:8).6.
