DESCRIPTION
Jurgen Ziewe uses some of the latest 3D modelling technologies, which cover all areas of the natural world including vegetation, animals and landscapes. He also uses avery advanced rendering engine, which is based on the physics of real light rather than simulation. Its algorithms and equations reproduce the behaviour of light in a completely accurate way. All elements such as light emitters material shaders and cameras are entirely based on physically accurate models, which makes it hard to distinguish CG generated images from real life photography. Since the early nineties Jurgen Ziewe had made a name for himself as one of the first 3D fantasy artists whose work was featured in a biographical book after millions of his posters were sold world-wide. And it did not take long for advertising agencies and publishers to discover in him a new resource for putting their messages across. Large international companies such as Schroders, Siemens, American Express, Lego, Canon, Virgin, BAA as well as Publishers such as Penguin, Reader’s Digest, Macmilllan populate his portfolio. Large advertising agencies, amongst them Saatchi, WPP, Publicist and McCann in New York, have all commissioned work.
