Downstairs

Spring Cottage was originally built, we understand, in the 17th Century and was first used as Horsell Hospital. It was dramatically extended in the early 1900’s and the house now offers two contrasting periods of architecture. Location

Spring Cottage is situated on Littlewick Road, directly opposite Horsell Common - beautiful countryside with around 900 acres of wood and heathland, ideal for dog owners, walkers and runners and of course children. Woking town centre is easily accessible being just short of 2 miles distant. Woking rail line is regarded as one of the best in the south east for ease of access to London Waterloo with numerous direct trains at rush hour, many taking just 20-25 minutes. There is also a regular coach service from the station to Heathrow Airport. Woking offers a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities including the New Victoria Theatre and multi screen cinema complex. Schooling is also excellent in the area.

Directions

Leave Woking via Victoria Way dual carriageway bearing to the left signposted Horsell on the Chobham Road. Continue over the Basingstoke Canal bridge and proceed over the mini roundabout onto Chobham Road. Continue over the brow of the hill into Kettlewell Hill and at the roundabout, turn right onto Chobham Road. Take the first exit at the next roundabout into Littlewick Road. Continue for about 1/3 of a mile and Spring Cottage can be found on the left.
