Breakfast - This morning, enjoy a 4 hour tour of the downtown core of Singapore’s Civic district. In this heritage site, you will learn the history of Singapore from the Colonial days to what it is today. You will learn how Singapore overcame many challenges to become a diverse, modern and progressive country. Within the downtown area there are several neighbourhoods each with it's own 'flavour'. Your guide will give you some of the history of the city. Of course, you cannot Singapore’s iconic mascot, The Merlion. Get close to and see for yourself the first original Merlion. You will visit the river front, where you are able to see all the beautiful architectural buildings surrounding this wonderful site. Take a cruise down the Singapore river and be transported back to the early days of the 18th century. Learn about the various races that came together to create what Singapore now represents.
