You brought a vine our of Egypt; to plant it you drove out the nations. It stretched out its branches to the sea, to the Great River it stretched out its roots.. Then why have you broken down its walls? It is plucked by all who pass by. It is ravaged by the boar of the forest,. devoured by the beasts of the field. God of hosts, turn again, we implore, look down from heaven and see. Visit this vine and protect it, the vine your right hand has planted. And we shall never forsake you again: give us life that we may call upon your name. JEEVAN GABRIEL SMM Fr Jeevan, 36, comes from an extended family with many priests and nuns and he always thought he would follow in their footsteps. He is from the Society of Montfort Missionaries (SMM), Bangalore, India. That was in 1997 and over the next 16 years he undertook formation training and university studies, culminating in his ordination in 4 th Janu- ary 2012 which was a “wonderful celebration” attended by priests and religious, relatives and friends. Following his work in the tribal mission, Fr Jeevan was appointed the administrator of the mission’s formation house for seminarians in Kerala. The Archbishop has appointed Rev. Fr. Jeevan Gabriel as Assistant in the Parishes of Hector- ville and Tranmere. He will be residential in Tranmere. Let us make him welcome to our Parish. Welcome Cake and Coffee after 9.0am Mass
