Designed for individuals who are responsible for retail banking issues in their institutions, the Senior Retail Banking Officer Forums meet three times annually at the TBA headquarters. e agenda for each session will flow based on feedback from forum participants. As necessary, subject matter experts will be invited in to focus on specific issues and topics based on responses from the forum members. Benefits of the Forums • Improve your effectiveness as a retail banking officer • Discuss current industry challenges with others in retail banking • Network and form lasting relationships with other retail banking officers/operations officers • Solve your most pressing problems • Obtain access to highly respected industry experts • Grow professionally as well as personally • Discuss with peers what works and what doesn’t How the Forums Work • e forums will meet three times • Several topics are discussed at each session, and participants are strongly encouraged to suggest topics of interest at each session • Forum participants get the benefit of working with seasoned facilitators on a cost-saving basis • Resources and documents based on forum topics are part of each session’s discussions Possible Topics • Current Tennessee retail banking challenges —from operations to regulations and e-banking • Building a retail banking branch and culture • Current challenges with growing the retail branch • Staffing and employee development • Emerging trends in retail delivery • Partnering with key vendors and service providers • Impacting sales and service delivery strategies • E-banking products and services • Balancing regulatory and compliance with growing the branch Program Instructor/Facilitator Dianne Barton is the founder and president of Performance Solutions, Inc. As a former banker, Barton is recognized for her services—including strategic planning, leadership and management development, regulatory and compliance implementations, retail growth strategies, and sales and service culture development—is recognized for providing real-world solutions by both regional and community banks. Before founding Performance Solutions in 1983, she held senior positions with BankSouth Corporation, the IRS, and John H. Harland Company. A graduate of Georgia State University, Barton is on the faculty of several banking schools.

2019 Senior Retail Banking Officer ForumsProgram Fees

The cost of membership in the annual forums is $1,200 and includes all three 2019 sessions. Registration deadline is March 6. Anyone added to the forums after that date will incur an additional $100 late fee. Institutions withdrawing after that date will forfeit payment. Substitutions are welcome. Fee covers instructional materials, continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, and lunch for each forum. No written confirmation of program registration will be sent from the TBA.
