Summary: Northside Elementary is a PPCD thru 5th-grade campus. The grades are semi-departmentalized, one teacher has the students for math & scienceand the other one has them for language arts and social studies. Teachers are supported by 2 Instructional Specialists in these two areas and additionalsupport specialist for bilingual teachers. Instructional specialists are responsible for planning, coaching, modeling and mentoring the teachers in order toensure that excellent initial instruction is taking place in the classroom.
