SeminarSeminar is held during Wednesday, Period 1 with each Seminar class comprising of a small cross-section of students from each Year group. Seminar is an opportunity for students to develop skills and understanding related to Rouse Hill High School’s core values of developing Dynamic, Accountable, Resilient and Engaged students.

- In Year 1.1 students complete preliminary and HSC course for three subjects

Curriculum - Stage 6- Introduced in 2012- Each cohort since 2012 has produced a greater
percentage of subjects performing above state average
- Growth of individual students when comparing their 1st HSC and 2nd HSC years
Class structure- 7D and 8D are enrichment classes
Entry is based on HAST, teacher referrals, internal and external data and reviewed at the end of each Semester
- All other classes 7A, 7R, 7E, 7T, 7O are mixed ability classes
- In 2017 we have grouped students with greater experiences in mandarin in one year 7 class
- 9D is not an enrichment classes. Students in this class study the 5.3 mathematics curriculum
- 9A, 9R, 9E and 9T are mixed ability and will access 5.2 and 5.1 maths curriculum
Sport- Macquarie Zone - Crestwood, Glenwood, Kellyville, Quakers Hill- Students trial for Grade sport teams- Sport - Wednesday Years 7 and 8 (Period 3)
Years 9 and 1.0 (Period 4)- Students choose a sport for the term (Year 8) or compete in school
rotational sport (Year 7)
Leadership- Approximately 16 in each year group- Meet once a week with Year coordinator- Active in fundraising and leadership responsibilities around the
