The Jeti Tauro is a hybrid printer designed for the quality

media. The 98-inch (2.5 m) Jeti Tauro features six colors plus

white and/or primer option and is designed for printing 24/7

The Jeti Tauro comes standard with manual media loading

capstan roll to drive prints to the pick & place stage where

FUJIFILM North America Corporation., Graphic Systems Division Booth #1119At Fujifilm Booth #1119, attendees will experience the Inca

Onset X3, a high productivity, high-quality flatbed press.

Capable of printing at a blistering 9,688 square feet per hour

(180 beds/hour), the Onset X3 features 3 x CMYK ink chan-

nels plus the choice of White or Orange, and 14-picolitre

printheads. The Onset X3 sits at the pinnacle of productivity.

With this printer, users of analog screen printing lines can

take the digital route, confident they can print long runs of

high-quality print with superb consistency and reliability.

Also on the show floor will be the Uvistar Hybrid 320,

a 3.2-meter combination flatbed and roll printer, capable

of producing high quality output at speeds of up to 2,100

square feet per hour. Utilizing FUJIFILM Dimatix Q-Class

printheads and Fujifilm Uvijet inks, the Uvistar Hybrid 320

prints full grayscale output of exceptional quality and deliv-

ers a wide gamut of vibrant colors. The press is available in

an eight channel configuration delivering CMYK, Lc, Lm, Lk

and Orange inks. A nine channel configuration is available

that adds White ink.

Solutions from the successful Acuity lineup of flatbeds,

including the new Acuity Select HS 30 series will be avail-

able; introducing light cyan and light magenta, pneumatic

pin registration, higher-flow vacuum pumps, and a standard

automated maintenance system (AMS).

The Acuity F, a UV press that produces exceptional

print quality at speeds up to 1,668 square feet per hour

will be providing live demonstrations each day. Typically

configured with seven colors, including White, the Acuity F

maintains all the advantages of the popular and successful

Acuity series, including near-photographic image quality,

versatility and ease of use; and also has been optimized

for the efficient and high speed production of rigid media

applications.

The Acuity LED II will be in the Fujifilm booth, featuring

a printing mode at 355 square feet per hour, which is 65%

percent faster than the previous model. The Acuity LED

II improves its media adaptability with expanded vacuum

modes and increased quality at larger head gaps. Added

benefits include modes for two-layer and three-layer print-

ing in a single pass.

Rounding out the nearly 5,000 square foot Fujifilm Booth

(#1119) will be workflow software demonstrations, and live

presentations highlighting Fujifilm Inkjet Technology.

HP Inc Booth #1149, 1161In SGIA booths 1149 and 1161, HP is showcasing its industry-

leading sign and display portfolio, featuring the latest third-gen-

eration HP Latex advancements. Designed for medium-to-large

PSPs with increasing print volumes, the new 64-inch HP Latex

560 and 570 Printers enable customers to manage a variety of

print jobs and peaks in production at a low upfront investment.

Additionally, the HP Latex 500 series allows more unattended

printing with a new spindle-less pivot table and automatic skew

adjustment to load rolls in one minute or less, also featuring

heavy-duty roll handling of rolls up to 121 lbs. and a status bea-

con for real-time production monitoring from a distance.

Building on the success of the proven HP Latex 3000

Printer series, the 126-inch HP Latex 1500 Printer offers a

robust, affordable super-wide-format printing solution, deliv-

ering fast turnarounds on a broad range of indoor and out-

door applications, including PVC banners, self-adhesive vinyl,

textiles and double-sided prints. The HP Latex 1500 Printer

helps PSPs reduce running costs and stay in control for both

long and short runs and achieve more unattended printing

with cost-effective 5-liter HP ink cartridges. The device also

offers an accessible print zone that features LED lighting for

easy loading, as well as an internal print server and a sta-

tus beacon that enables at-a-glance production monitoring.

Further leveraging the benefits of third generation HP Latex

technology, the HP Latex 1500 delivers prints that are com-

pletely dry and scratch-resistant immediately after printing.

Mimaki USA Inc Booth #1961, 1953, 2053The Mimaki UJV55-320 grand format UV-LED printer is a 128-

inch roll-to-roll model featuring seven ink colors including

white for printing on transparent or colored media. It supports

media up to 127.9 inches wide for oversized graphics and pan-

els, or can print simultaneously onto two rolls up to 60-inch

wide each. This new model produces vibrant colors with a

high degree of opacity and consistent color for optimal view-

ing results in day/night applications. The UJV55-320 printer

features an in-line, LED backlit-proofing panel gives the opera-

tor the ability to check the color fidelity during printing and

react immediately to a misprint, which can help reduce waste

and improve production efficiency. It uses Mimaki original LUS-

120 UV-LED inks available in cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light

cyan, light magenta and white. LUS-120 UV-LED inks also offer

excellent scratch resistance provide up to 170-percent flexibility

making them ideal for foldable and easy-to handle-banner appli-

cations. High-capacity reservoirs hold up to three liters of ink for

long runs. The UJV55-320 printer offers fast print speeds of up to

1184 square feet per hour. It is also fully networkable with indus-

try standard Gigabit Ethernet for multiple printer connections

to print onto the thinnest of transfer paper, it includes a

high gap printhead that is unaffected by cockling that is a

common occurrence when using thin media, while main-

taining extremely high quality output. With 12 print heads,

the TS500P-3200 printer can achieve high print speeds of

up to 1937 square feet per hour in four-color mode. It uses

Mimaki original Sb310 dye sublimation inks available in Blue,

Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Blue and Light Magenta. High-

capacity reservoirs hold up to three liters of ink for long runs.

The Auto Media Feeder applies calibrated tension to the

media, maintaining stable and precise media feed and take-

up on rolls up to 286 lbs. This also reduces telescoping of the

media during take-up and eliminates the potential for buck-

ling or creasing during the calendar transfer process thereby

accommodating long run, full roll transfers. Four independent

post-print heaters reduce cockling for smoother transport to

the take-up reel. The TS500P-3200 printer can be connected to

a network via Ethernet or USB 2.0 connection, for flexibility in

setting up the workflow.

products at SGIA 2016, including the new TrueVIS™ VG series

wide-format printer/cutters – completely reimagined eco-sol-

vent inkjets ushering in a new era of quality, productivity, effi-

ciency, and ease of use. Representing the future of print/cut, the

new TrueVIS VG-640 and VG-540 incorporate new FlexFire™

print heads, new vibrant, cost-effective TrueVIS INK, new inte-

grated cutting technology with greater accuracy and downforce,

and even new Bluetooth connectivity for remote operation
