Leadership Manual
Page 2
Through m y years in FCCLA, I have been able to see the im pact of this organizat ion. I am always am azed when I look back at the years to see what has been accom plished at the local, state, and nat ional level to bet ter our fam ilies, help our careers, and posit ively in f luence our com m unit ies. I am assured every year that w ith FCCLA, we t ruly have un lim ited possib i li t ies. As we begin our journey in to this upcom ing year, I encourage you to rem em ber three poin ts:
1. A t i t le does not def ine what we can or can?t or will accom plish. What we accom plish is def ined by our m indset , at t i t ude, and act ions.
2. We set the tone. We, as FCCLA m em bers, should act ively seek to be people who in f luence others to do well and not allow others to in f luence us in a negat ive way.
3. Service leadership is key! What?s the poin t of being a leader i f we aren?t going to help others?
Your 2016-2017 State Execut ive Council w ishes you the best for this upcom ing year and we hope we are able to provide som e guidance on how to create a year f i lled with un lim ited possib i li t ies!
