Each year I write to all of you who have supported the vision and mission of Bumi Sehat Foundation. Each year it becomes more emotional for me, because you have cared.
You have cared enough about Mothers, Babies & Families, to keep our Pregnancy, Childbirth and Postpartum services alive for decades. You have supported the human right to kind, respectful healthcare, even for those who have no means to access a doctor, midwife or nurse. You have considered the plight of the HIV+ mothers, by supporting our Bumi~Valentino Lab. Due to your concern, all of our mothers-to-be have free confidential testing and counseling. Those who are HIV+ are on anti-retro viral therapy, so their babies need not contract AIDS. Your belief in education for all youth, has given kids the boost they need, to find success. Our dream is that as each of our Bumi Youth Center kids grows up, they will carry with them the compassion you planted in their hearts, by giving them the opportunity to learn and shine.

In Cebu, a water refilling station was setup so that thousands of families may receive clean drinking water.

Thanks to Direct Relief International and One Heart World-wide, Bumi Sehat had a presence in the aftermath of the terrible 2015 earthquakes in Nepal. When disaster strikes, Bumi Sehat is the go-to organization that looks after pregnant, birthing and breastfeeding mothers and babies.
Construction of the New Bumi Sehat Bali Clinic is ahead of schedule. We will be moving in by August 2016. Thanks to your generous support,
this is a HUGE leap forward in our capacity to help reduce suffering in Bali.

Our donors, have been with us since our first clinic in Bali opened. We have been together, responding to disasters in Aceh, Yogyakarta, Padang, Haiti, the Philippines and Nepal. You helped us establish permanent clinics and education centers following the tsunami disaster in Aceh, and the Philippine super typhoon, where YOU provide free healthcare and education, as a human right. In these 11 years in our three main locations, YOU have been responsible for providing 60,723 prenatal care check-ups, and 6,949 babies have been born safely.
