SE1053 CPI Refresher Participants will receive Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training to

maintain current certification. Participants will demonstrate ability and

confidence in applying prevention and de-escalation. The course is also

referred to as CPI. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: This course is limited to

persons who have completed at least eight hours of initial training in the

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training program in the last 23 months.

CU5627 Basic Language Skills (two sessions in the fall - 13 day

course)

BLS is a thirteen-day course which prepares teachers to provide intensive

intervention for students with difficulties in learning to read, write, and/or

spell. Participants must attend all thirteen days to receive credit. No

partial credit will be awarded. Campuses will not be reimbursed for

substitute teachers.

Two sessions are available.

1st Session Dates: September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28,

November 4, 18, December 2, 9, February 10, and March 24.

2nd Session Dates: The second session class dates are October 22,

November 6, 13, 20 January 8, 15, 22 February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 25,

May 20.
