HOW TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES
HOW TO RENT A PAVILION/ROOM The City of Edmond Parks and Recreation Depart-ment has pavilions and rooms available for rent for private functions. For more information on avail-ability, pricing or to rent a pavilion or room, call the Parks and Recreation office at 359–4630 or visit us at the MAC building in Mitch Park.
Planning a special event? Any event that offers a public invitation that includes but is not limited to, runs/walks, car shows, comm– unity garage sales, parades, etc. must be approved by the Special Events Committee. Anyone interested in having a special event must contact Dorothy Nelson in the Parks and Recreation Office for an application form and information on how to apply. All forms must be completed and returned to the office 60 days prior to the requested event date.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY If you have registered for a class that was cancelled due to lack of enrollment, a credit will be placed on your account for a future class. This credit will expire 1 year from the date of the original class.
If you have registered for a class that was cancelled by us due to other reasons, we will work to reschedule the class at a later date, keeping the same time and day of the week. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled class, a credit will be placed on your account for a future class. The credit will be available for 1 year from the date of the original class.
If a participant withdraws from a class more than 3 days prior to the scheduled class date, the participant may request a refund or a credit to their account ora refund. Refund time will vary depending on form and date of original payment.
If a participant withdraws from a class less than 3 business days prior to the scheduled class date, a credit will be placed on their account. Credits will expire 1 year from the date of the original class.
The above policy applies only to our fee–based recreation Programs and not to: KickingBird Tennis; Pelican Bay Aquatic Center; KickingBird Golf Club; Farmer’s Market; MAC or pavilion rentals, special events or Arcadia Lake.
Program Tardiness PolicyPrograms will start promptly at the designated time. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you can scan your card and be ready for class.
Recreation Card All class participants must sign a yearly liabil–ity waiver and have their picture taken for a Recreation Card. Participants must bring this card each time they come in for a class and have it scanned at the front desk.

Arcadia Lake is located on the Deep Fork River and has 1,820 surface acres and 26 miles of shoreline. Facilities include picnicking, camping, swimming, water skiing, boating, hiking, disc golf and an equestrian trail. Central State ParkCentral State Park is 2.5 Miles east of I–35 on 2nd Street (Route 66) with 249 acres. KickingBird Golf Club is the City of Edmond’s only municipal golf course. Built in 1971, KickingBird is Edmond’s oldest golf course and is still well known for its traditional 18–hole championship layout. KickingBird Golf Club has hosted many professional and amateur championships. KickingBird hosted the Oklahoma Open from 1979–1985 and many of its storied champions include Danny Edwards, Dr. Gil Morgan, Doug Tewell, and Bob Tway. KickingBird is currently the permanent home site of the Oklahoma Golf Association’s Junior Boys and Girls Championships. Come experience great golf with a family friendly atmosphere. Brian Soerensen, PGA Member since 1994, has been the PGA Head Golf Professional at KickingBird Golf Club since 1997 and his staff includes PGA Assistant Golf Professional, Jeff Klappenbach. We offer a number of programs for juniors and adults of all skill levels.
