2012 was a big year. As you would imagine, we are disappointed to have stumbled at the end of the season. I assure you that missing out on the finals hurt the guys. It’s something that none of them want to experience again.

We are going to build on the last season. I made a promise to you this time last year – we are going to be the best rugby team in the world. And we are going to do that.

Signing Wallabies captain David Pocock is another step in that plan.

On behalf of the team, I want thank you for your support in 2012. You stuck by us. It means a lot to the players. I look forward to seeing you again in 2013. It’s going to be an even bigger year.
