with the older children.

Our Extreme Reading winners reaped the rewards of their extreme

efforts on Friday with a congratulatory trip to Discover Story

Centre.

Isaiah, Anas and Panos made a story-telling finger puppet, dressed

up in fancy clothes, explored the new Space setting and even

Parking and Road Safety

We are distressed to hear that residents of

the local area are concerned about the safety

of our children when they are being picked up

and dropped off at school. There are concerns

that some children are not always supervised

on the streets and roads, which could result in

a child being hit by a car.

We would like to ask parents to be

vigilant about the whereabouts of their

children and especially keep an eye on them

when they are whizzing about on their

scooters.

We would also like to ask parents and carers

to please refrain from parking in front of the

School 21 gate or in the staff car park in the

mornings. This is becoming dangerous and

also blocks important delivery access to our

school.

We would also like to advise families to take

extra care whilst crossing West Ham

Lane. There have been a number of

near-accidents and we want to keep our

children safe. We urge you, as some parents

have done already, to take your concerns to

the local council and MPs about the

dangerous state of that particular road.
