    Presidents Report from Natalie Jupe

    Hi all,

This month is going just as fast as July did, and I hate to mention it but Christmas will be here before we know it.

Last week we had a board meeting on Wednesday night, followed by a very successful Visioning session held on

Saturday. On behalf of the club I would like to thank Lynne and the visioning team for assisting out club with thissession. I would also like to thank the members who gave up their Saturday morning for coming along to help theirclub. We now have more than enough ideas to last us 5+ years. We will be having a Club Assembly to follow up onthe outcomes of our Visioning session at our Wed 5 th September meeting I hope to see you there.

This week also saw the first of our FBCF events. Last night Doug, Roni and I went to see The Sapphires movie atManuka Cinemas. Great movie with fantastic music. Thanks so much for coming along to the movie last night.

For those who loved the movie and now want the soundtrack, we got this great discount coupon

For those who did not make it to the movies, we plan to have more social FBCF events in the future (watch thecalendar for more details).

Tonight we have Graham Waite as our guest speaker. He is the Projects Coordinator for Technical Aid to the DisabledACT (TADACT). TADACT is a not for profit organization which specialises in creating or modifying equipment for

people with a disability or the elderly. For more info about TADACT visithttp://www.technicalaidact.org.au/
