Welcome to First Baptist Church! If you are our guest, please take a moment to complete the guest registration card found also in this bul-letin. You will be encouraged to place this item in the offering plate. Again, thank you for your faithful-ness in attendance through the sum-mer. As mentioned last Sunday, Jesse, Jessica, and Birdie Koski have left for Richmond, VA for weeks of in-tense training and orientation in order to go to India for a long-term missions appointment. The Koskis will be with us on September 30 for a final send-off before they go to India. Be praying for them, as well as their family, as they make this incredible transition. One of the ways that we can help the Koskis is by receiving periodic prayer up-dates from them once they are in India. If you would like to receive these prayer updates, please use today’s registration tear-off to pro-vide your name and e-mail address. The Koskis will love being able to share specific ways we might be praying for them. Please remember our One Day cele-bration slated this year for Septem-ber 2. We will have a combined worship service at 10 a.m. on that particular morning. I want to urge everyone, even though this will be Labor Day weekend, to give maxi-mum effort to join us for this special worship gathering. At the conclusion of our service to-day, we will carry out a First Baptist 5th Sunday tradition by receiving a special offering to be used only for benevolence purposes.
