SO, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS YEAR?

They say that if you have fun at what you do, you will do it better and more

often. So, as we want you to have fun (so that you can cut carbon better &

more often :) ) , we are going to entertain you. Oh yes! In 2011 we will break

every rule there is, and we will show you that cutting carbon can be every

bit as attractive, amusing and gripping as, I don't know, Matt Damon's new

flick, the latest Android gadget, or Victoria Secret runway.

Laughter, drama, suspense, love – we have it all! We'll throw in some great food & loads of

gifts too! We will accessorize you, we will style you, and we will turn you into a true

celebrity. Here's a sneak peak as to how we will do all of that :

I AM 10:10Every day we will bring you news, updates, photos, videos, recipies, tips and tricks, style

and fashion – all related to cutting carbon!

We will share stories from our 10:10ers, updates from other 10:10 hubs, and case studies

from 10:10 businesses and organizations.

We will organize 10:10 events and connect with different

organizations. Come and mingle!

We will also provide you with advice and tools, in order to

help you reduce your carbon footprint.

We will offer you fab things, like this 10:10 tote, and

much much more!

10:10 TEEN PROJECT10:10 TEEN PROJECT targets youth, age

13 – 19, and aims at connecting peers in

carbon cutting efforts.

The project starts end of January, and

we hope that we will manage to carry it

out until mid December (with a 6 week

break during summer).

During 10:10 TEEN PROJECT we will

work closely with schools,

municipalities and other 10:10 hubs.

Using social networks as a "project

points" we will post tasks for young

participants – they will then have a

reasonable amount of time to complete

the task and report on their

achievement. Each task aims toward

educating them how to cut carbon, but also towards inspiring them to eplore new ways to

reduce carbon footprint, to work in teams, and to involve their communities in the carbon

reduction process.

The project will be monitored by climate change professionals, and will include also "peer

exchange" – best carbon cutting teens will have the opportunity to visit another country /

town, and experience other ways of reducing carbon footprint(s).

Forget any other reality show

In 2011 we will be following ten

people for ten weeks to learn

how are they cutting carbon at

home, at work, in school, while

travelling, or during vacation.

I am sure it will be truly

entertaining, but also

educational!

We are preparing lots of great

prizes for participants, and we

will get a low carbon holiday!

10:10 FORESTSThe UN celebrates

2011 as the

International Year of

Forests. In 2011 we

as a 10:10 hub

brought together

thousands of people

in 24 countries on

three continents, in

a joint effort to plant 101010 trees during 10:10:10 week. Over 50,000 trees were planted

that week in countries of our hub, and this year we continue with tree planting (and not

just for one week), aiming to reach 101010 planted trees, and hopefully much more!

We will keep you posted on tree planting events we are planning, and how you can join us!
