Dear Brethren and Friends,
Charity is the focus of all activities at the Masonic Charity Foundation. Our programsbenefit the needy, support public education and involve our Lodges in communityactivities.
The success of our programs is reflected in the recognitions given the Foundation bythe Oklahoma Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as itsOutstanding Philanthropic Foundation of the Year. Also, the Aging Innovations Awardgiven by the National Area Aging Associations at its 2009 national meeting for ourMasonic Assistance Program. Our members and supporters can be proud of the workdone by the Foundation, which continues to lead the charitable efforts of ourFraternity.
As you review the financial results and the program activities of 2009, rememberthat many of the good works described were made possible by the financial
performance detailed within this report. Our Foundation works only from the earnings of our donations which are allendowed. We hope that the donors who helped create this legacy would be proud of our results. If you too are proudof our results, we sincerely hope that you will join our efforts and make a contribution.
It is a privilege to be a Mason, and an honor to be able to serve as President of our Masonic Charity Foundation. Ibelieve that our Foundation is one of the brightest gems in all of America’s grand jurisdictions. I hope this report willinspire you to become more involved. With your help we will continue to advance the mission of Masonic charity.
Fraternally,
David A. Ray, President
