Event overview
20% Event POS Set-Up Pack 2
To help drive footfall and sales, we’re switching on a 20% event. The first since November 2019!
• 6 day event running from Thursday 11th November to Tuesday 16th November
• 20% off everything in-store and online for all valid Club Plus members
• Free Trial sign ups will be switched off during this event and we will run full price only
• Please note Club members are not eligible for the 20% discount unless they upgrade
• Free trial members that joined on or before 10th November will have access to the 20% saving
• Standard exclusions apply - Restaurants, Club Plus Membership, Gift Cards, Services, Calor Gas and Concessions
• All stores will trade under the normal Winter trading hours
• There is no requirement to run welcome drinks or demonstrations

Below details all POS needed for the event which will arrive for Tuesday 9th November 2021.
Roadside banners

Roadside Banners
• To be placed outside the store in position one
• Banner must be in place COB Wednesday 6th November and removed after the store closes on Tuesday
12th November
Outside the store – car parks and front of store

Correx Board
• Should be used outdoors in car park
areas on trees, posts, pillars and lamp
posts
• They help to create impact at the front
of store
• The boards have drill holes which allow
them to be cable tied and held in place
securely
A1 Entrance Poster
• Place this in the A-frame at the front of the store –
facing customers as they enter

Temporary cards
• Should be readily available to allow team members to write
down a members card number so they can use their benefits
straight away
• Don’t forget – only Club Plus members will receive the 20%
discount

• The terms and conditions MUST be clearly displayed at the Customer Services Desk or at main till bank.

Recycling cups display
• Set up a table display, near the recruitment stations with 24 recycling cups in a pyramid shape. This is to show customers
visually how many free hot drinks they get in a year with the Club Plus membership. We will provide A4 POS to be displayed
in a perspex holder on the table beside the cups

Pull Up Banner
• To be used at front of store, especially beside recruitment stations
• Pay particular attention to any exclusive offer areas, and high value items

• A3 & A4 posters should be positioned in bus stops and
holders throughout the store, especially around key
lines and top sellers

A6 Shelf Edge Pop-out
• To be placed along shelf edges in indoor living sections
• The pop-out will fit into the ends of the shelf
• Place only on eye level shelves or above

• Key selling lines have been pre-printed to be displayed
beside key products throughout the store

A4 & A5 Empty Belly Templates
• Blank ‘Was/Now’ templates have been produced to call out additional lines
• We’ve produced an editable PDF to allow you to complete these
• You can then print directly on to the templates, more information on how to
do this is continued over the page
• There must be no handwritten POS in-store

Empty Belly Templates
It will be trial and error to begin with to set up the templates and the printer to get the
best results. Once you know your settings, record them for future use
• Test your printer setting so you know which way the paper feeds through and if
your empty belly template should be face up or down in the printer
• Download and print the empty belly templates from the portal if you want to test
before you use your delivery. Get all settings correct before you start printing your
price POS
• Complete the PDF and send to print on the pre-printed empty belly templates. See
example of complete PDF. Please note: all print should be set to actual size, do not
use scale to fit print settings
As all printers are different, alignment may be off, please use your judgement if the
print alignment is good

• Display A3 posters in holders in high impact areas, on main displays and near
main walkways
• Make sure you utilise the back of any signage currently in use
