A lot of work has been put into HCE Day and the West District Meeting, as well as the upcoming leadership events – I encourage you to attend both if you can. I attended the leadership ADRC this morning and learned what it’s all about. ADRC means Adult Development Resource Center and it is a very well organized program for caregivers. They offer a class of 2 hours each week for 6 weeks at a cost of $10 – and if you attend four of the sessions your $10 is refunded! The classes will be held at the Loyal City Hall on Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m., April 2 to May 7. If you are a caregiver for your spouse or someone else, this would be an excellent pro- gram for you. To register contact Janet Evans at 11916 Goodwater Avenue in Sparta, WI 54656. Send her your name, address, phone number, email if you have one, and whether you will need a short break during the program. They also offer scholarships if you are unable to pay the fee. I think this may be all the space I’m allowed, so will look forward along with you for a beautiful spring and summer and fall this year before another cold winter. It’s such a beautiful day today – I’d like to go outside and sit in the sun. Unfortunately all our outside furniture is still in its winter mode (in other words, in storage)! I have high hopes for instant spring!
