To boost the green energy wave in the nation, DFCCIL a PSU corporation run by Government of India's Ministry of Railways has planned to execute

a IBRD funded solar power project across western and eastern corridors for a combined length of 850 km out of total stretch of 3322 km. In this

direction, Gensol was awarded the tender for conducting technical and financial feasibility study for setting up solar power plants in 500 km along

Western DFCC & 350 km along Eastern DFCC which is planned to be executed as a pilot project before a full scale implementation.


150MW solar PV development for the Nagpur Mumbai Superhighway (Samruddhi Mahamarg)

Project Brief

Samruddhi Mahamarg is a 700 km long infrastructure development project undertaken by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation

(MSRDC) in the central-western part of India. GGGI supports MSRDC to make their vision green and truly inclusive with the benefits not only for the

road electricity requirement but also for greening the grid for the districts through which the road passes. The project is sought to assess and

justify value proposition in conducting a feasibility study for 150 MW solar PV potential in the planned Mumbai-Nagpur Highway. Glad to share that

Gensol is appointed as the solar consultant to carry out the project feasibility study.
