John Olliff-Cooper Rumour has it there is pressure on the government to accommodate tens of thousands of migrants/refugees who are in or heading for Europe. So let's get some answers on behalf of a typical small town: let's start with Lymington. 1. How many should our town take? 2. Where shall we house them? 3. Where shall we school the children? 4. How much should we (quite rightly) raise Council Tax to pay for everything they need? 5. Which surgeries should they join? 6. Assuming only a small number arrive (say 300) where will they build their little mosque? 7. Where will they be employed? Although we are already over-populated on this small island, we are a caring nation, so in order that we can be prepared for the wave after wave of genuinely needy people, let us gather these answers now, before the poor and destitute of the world arrive. We must make proper provision, because there are TENS OF MILLIONS of oppressed people around the world, and if they decide to travel though half a dozen other countries to ask for our assistance in their hour of need, we have to take our fair share. 2 hrs Like Comment Share 8 people like this. 52 of 56 View previous comments Steve Sherwood Very very well said!!
