Background

“The New Jersey Technology Solutions Center, a 501 (c)(3) NJ nonprofit organization, was created in response to a solicitation from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development in consultation with the US Army in September 2008.” US Army Fort Monmouth Press Release Sept 1, 2010

NJTSC was awarded an initial grant by NJLWD in April 2009 and a grant by OSD in September 2010

“… Although BRAC 2005 requires the Army to close Fort Monmouth, the award of this grant helps the Army continue its access to technical expertise remaining in the area, even as much of the Fort Monmouth workforce moves to Maryland.”
