Partner with the New Jersey Library Association and provide essential Workforce information and services to clients in a alternative location
Empower Library Association staff to assist unemployed clients file a unemployment insurance claim online at Library facilities.

Currently, the national unemployment rate is at 8.5% compared to New Jersey’s rate of 8.2%. As the economy worsens, the public is increasingly turning to Libraries and One-Stop Career Centers for assistance.

Can help to address the growing needs of New Jersey’s workforce, especially in times of economic hardship.
Will create additional access points for those people who need help from government, especially for those already served by Non-Profit Organizations.
To meet the increasing numbers of people filing new UI claims, this partnership can allow Non-Profit Organizations to facilitate online application process for participants.
