Scanning and DL/UL parameter acquisition

• Process in the SS• On initialization or after signal

loss, the SS shall acquire a DL ch.

• The PHY has achieved sync.• Receive the DL-MAP (Lost DL-

MAP interval) and DCD (T1 interval) messages

• SS receives a UCD message for UL ch.

• UL parameters are valid after receiving UL-MAP messages.

• If no UL ch. can be found after timeout period, the SS shall continuous scanning for another DL ch.
