USER INSTALLATION GUIDE

WARNING: DO NOT install this material on any heated surfaces (such as exhausts, engine blocks, or hot coolant return lines). DO NOT place thisproduct inside of air intakes, or engine components; it is meant to be placedon the outter-facing surfaces of components. DO NOT expose to an open flame. This product is flame resistant, but it is not fireproof.

Goldilocks Elite Gold™ and White Gold™ series thermal products are designed to protectyour car’s systems such as the engine air intake, radiators, fuel lines, intercoolers,battery housing, and electronic wiring harnesses from radiant engine heat.

This product is designed to reflect radiant heat of up to 450ºC, while most engine baysrarely exceed temperatures of 120ºC. Cooled air allows for your engine to be more efficient and powerful, and cooler engine coolant allows you to run longer on the track,or avoid engine overheating in stop-and-go traffic.or avoid engine overheating in stop-and-go traffic.

Start with a cold engine. For best results avoid installation under 5ºC and above 40ºC. For best results you may want to remove the part from your car.

Thoroughly clean your parts with the detergent of your choice to remove to all oils, dirt, grease, and silicon. Allow your part to thoroughly dry, as water will reduce adhesion.

Unroll the desired amount of your Goldilocks product and remove the backingmaterial. You may recycle the backing.

Apply the tape to the desired location. If it requires adjustment, you may lift off the tape and try again.NOTE: The tape does not stretch; complex curves may require relief cuts in the tape to avoid wrinkling.

Use a credit card or squeegy to remove any wrinkles and to firmly set the adhesive.

You may apply more than one layer in sections that may encounter higher temperatures (for example, next to a turbocharger, or near an exhaust manifold).
