Opened in 1933, but fully completed in 1980, The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of the Capuchin Fathers, is a metaphor referring to human existence and their relationship with God. It was built by the architect Augusto Ferrari, who combined elements of Gothic and Romanesque reminiscences. As the building reaches height, its characters symbolically rise closer to heaven.

The Taninga Tunnels communicate the Province of Córdoba to La Rioja valleys through the Pochos mountain chain. Five open-cut tunnels in the mountain cord and some hanging bridges constitute this impressive work or road engineering. The road that leads to the tunnels was built in 1930, 170 km. away from Córdoba City. The landscape that you can discover here, is one of the most beautiful postcards of the Province.
