When crical processes depend on crical data, how will you make the right decision? Manufacturing industries are continuously trying to improve performance, efficiency
or safety by means of process control. Suitable analyzer technology is the first step
in order to manage the total package of your assets and can take your process per-
formance to a higher level. High reliability, few installation costs and a reasonable
total cost of ownership are significant savings required by industrial operations.
AppliTek’s analytical technology helps you to achieve these goals and raise
your standards in process control.

Data exchange - Superv ision tools
Remote screen sharing Plant engineers, maintenance engineers and other authorized
users can remotely take over the analyzer screen (the client)
by means of LAN Ethernet software (such as VNC). Authorized
users can carry out all manual operations and settings from a
remote PC. Conduct trouble-shooting before doing any
physical intervention, grab cross-platform screenshots for
reports or presentations, the possibilities are endless.
System integrated solutions AppliTek manufactures and commissions analyzer shelters
addressing the needs of customers wishing to monitor a
complex set of parameters in a single integrated system. In
that case, data collection is assured inside the shelter and
transmitted through the network or an existing telephone
line. If necessary, a special computer cabinet can be installed
in the control room to protect the main control/visualization
data computer system.
From real-me visualizaon to trouble-shoong: Full integraon and communicaon of AppliTek process analyzers within industrial producon sites and corporate networks.

Industrial grade controllers All AppliTek on-line analyzers (process/water) are equipped
with industrial grade controllers optimized for their tasks. The
colour touch screens (size 10.4” or 5.7”, depending on model)
act as human interfaces with an excellent viewing angle and
swift response to touching. Back-up: all data is automatically
retained in case of power failure.
Flexible communication options All AppliTek process analyzers come with industrial 4-20 mA
outputs, the most common analogue transmission standard
available. Ethernet communication by means of the industry-
standard TCP/IP protocol enables easy and reliable integration
into existing corporate networks. MODBUS interfacing is possi-
ble to assure full integration and communication with distrib-
uted control systems (DCS).

Enclosures - Configurations The EnviroLyzer® Series of On-line Water Analyzers are
equipped with a new compact dust- and splash-proof
analyzer enclosure consisting of a powder coated steel
back, combined with an ergonomic ABS hinged part.
Purging with instrument air is possible in case of extreme
humidity or risk of accumulation of corrosive gases.
Where site-specific requirements may compromise the
analyzer’s potential, optional enclosures/configurations
are available. If necessary, the analyzer can be integrated
in various protective enclosures such as an IP65 rated
protective cabinet for outdoor use. For hazardous areas,
the analyser is integrated in a protective enclosure with
all necessary connections, special analytics and control
units, a stand-alone system factory tested to fully meet
ATEX or NEC 500 directives.

Measurement of total heavy metal content
Accuracy, precision and stability of results are very critical
when monitoring for heavy metal contents in water sam-
ples by photometric and electrochemical methods. The
VPA® can be equipped with an optional add-on unit to
digest organics, while suspended particles can be dissolved
completely. The new digestion unit is conform with US EPA
Method 200.2 or 200.7 and processes samples with concen-
trated acids and oxidizing agents at high temperature.

R & D Values
Reliability
As a specialist manufacturer of on-line analyzers, we are challenged with
offering our customers the best in industrial grade analytics for on-line
monitoring of liquids, from stand-alone analyzers to complete industrial
monitoring systems. All hardware components are carefully selected, with
industrial computers / human interfaces controlling the operation. Results:
massive amounts of process data are reliably measured, logged and com-
municated in a seamlessly easy way to plant managers or control centers.
Flexibility
The incorporated software flexibility minimizes physical operator interven-
tion. The analyzer screen (the client) can remotely be taken over by means
of LAN Ethernet software (such as VNC software). Authorized users can car-
ry out all necessary manual operations and settings from a remote PC using
a modem, internet or intranet connection.
Safety
Standard general purpose zone, optionally conform ATEX or NEC500.
Industrial needs are to be met by industrial solutions. AppliTek can meet
strict regulations for the construction, including materials as well as design
requirements in hazardous locations. On top of that, all automatic features
that come standard with AppliTek on-line analyzers are also included in the
ex-proof design. Special attention is given to wet parts that come in direct
contact with process streams.
Trustability
Trustability is the currency of exchange between you, the customer, and our
company. A proven track record of 25 years of analytical technology is at
your service. AppliTek’s quality approach is visible in all steps of the delivery
chain, from the initial design up to quality control. Moreover, the best suited
analytical technique in function of your application is implemented as a
part of the total framework approach.
Responsibility
AppliTek supplies you with the ideal formula for all your needs in process
monitoring. From the application and feasibility study to basic engineering
to the final implementation of the analyzer system, AppliTek is and remains
your single partner. AppliTek’s symbiosis between analytical expertise and
system integration guarantees you a complete solution for a measuring
problem, not merely supply of an analyzer.
