Through our technical research, we have found different video tutorials on different technical needs of our production

Tutorials on: Filming rules Camera shots and angle Lighting Use of camera

Brief Explanation

180 degree rules We should always have a imaginary line draw across the

actor’s head and to make sure to only film on one side of the line which can help by reducing the awareness of the final production

Rules of third As we are filming we should always divide the frame equally

in 9 parts with 2 horizontal lines and 2 vertical lines, the main focus of the shot should always be on the line or in where the lines intersects, this allows the audience watching the film to be more clear about what should they by focused on.

Filming Rules

While we are filming we should make sure we understand all the shot types and follow what is on the shot list

Camera shots

Page 5: What have we learnt

While we are filming, we have to make sure that we are using different filming angles to connote different powers and status of the person as well as the product.

Such as High angle connotes low power, while Low angle connotes High power.

Camera Angles

While we are filming we need to make sure we are having enough light for different shot, such as having low key lighting in the cops scene.
