  • 1. What have you learnt about technologies from theprocess of constructing this product?

2. Completing this product for a two minute Using these camera shots such as aopening helped me realise the importance close up shot, helped focus on theof the variation of camera shots. Learning character without actually showingwhy the usage of these shots are soa true identity. This adds interestimportant and how variation can impact onand mystery to the character, I alsofilming. I learnt how to include different found how it helped highlightshots such as a close up, match on action, important props used by charactersestablishing such as the following. Also which help develop the narrative.learnt diagetic and non-diagetic sound. Are close up used on the mobileDiagetic such as dialogue learning the phone helped introduce theimportance. Establishing shot. characters personality, as you first witness her aggression while arguing with someone, by not hearing the other persons voice, you create a narrative enigma 3. Another technical method I learnt whilecompleting the product is how to usenew software on the computer. Such aspower-director, this is very importantsoftware kit, it is where I learnt to edit allmy shots and actually create the finalproduct. Learning how to trim or cutdifferent scenes having this technicaldevelopment allowed my film to flow inthe best way possible. Power-directoralso allowed me to learn how to export amusic file and learn how to transfer themusic and right pace and speed to linkinto the film. All this helped me becomemore technically developed, whencompleting further films. 4. My technical development didnt just start to grow when physically editing but alsowith the process of the final completion. By creating an account for Blogger, I wasable to create different pages based on the journey from the first idea to the last.Creating planning page which took the very first location, the first charactersthought of the storyline and see how the ideas developed. Another page foraudience codes and conventions included in your film, as well as the finalevaluation of our film. Blogger helped me to learn to add links, photos to adddifferent advices such as slide-share and to upload videos. Now I feel confident inall these aspects, as well I know how to analyze and detail my progress. 5. By the end of the brief we had twocomplete final openings wechose the opening we feltadded all the right techniquesthat were required. By doing somuch filming I now feel reallyconfident using the videocamera and tripod. I was able tocreate shots that I felt were at ahigh standard, however we didsometimes face difficulties suchas the more low and highangles the image could becomeblurred. After much practice welearnt what angle suited thevideo camera with the bestpicture, sorting out technicaldifficulties. Are first shooting wewere faced with the dilemmathat the camera was not fullycharged which halted the firstfilming, second time round wemade sure we were prepared 6. Also considering the effect that lighting has, as it was a social realism film usedmostly all natural lighting for outside, however shots within the flat was much darker. The contrast from outdoor natural light to indoor which is much darker gave it arealistic light, as well as mirroring the mood and tone of the film. The lighting was very easily created as we needed the natural effect however filmingoutside became difficult when we need the dialogue to spoken in a loud outsideenvironment. This was a problem faced very bad first time filming, however we useda micro phone that we got the character to speak into. This was very effective as itheightened the characters voice, which is very important as the tone of voice portraysthe characters personality.
