The User Experience

Silicon scraper for removing gloopy foods off pans. The waste can then be thrown straight in the bin stopping plug holes form becoming blocked.

The Function of Form - Vertical Hole Punch

Rapid prototyped shell with modified hole punch internals and hand shaped base

My hole punch design reflects the personality of my client who loves natural forms and sustainability. The Form makes you want to cup your hand over it which leads to the vertical operation of the punch.

Live Project for Disability Charity - Monitoring LocationBobs ProfileBob has mild dementia but really wants to live independently in a shared house.

He has trouble remembering which room is his and often goes in the wrong one.

This was a group project which was also a competition, we were chosen by the charity as the winners.

Designed to span 6m straight out and 2m to the right in an L-shape.The bridge must support 80kg and be in sections and easy to deploy.Stresses must be hand calculated and checked using FEA software.

Since leaving my Betec National Diploma in Marine Engineering in 2004, I have taken on a multitude of different experiences across the world and in many subject areas.

I decided to go to University as a mature student to hone in my broad range of skills to become a very experienced, knowledgeable and focused individual.

My upbringing got me interested in all things practical; I was always outside and my father being an architect and designer himself, was always allowing me to be hands on making things, taking things apart and understanding how they worked.

I have always been interested in problem solving, this started out when I used to build radio controlled models to building my Kit car.

I believe given the right opportunities I can become a very valuable asset to any design company.
