BUCKINGHAM SCHOOL LIBRARY

The location is fitting because she is writing in a diary and looking through spell books. The library makes it seem like she has many spell books and instantly makes her seem to be a mythical, magical creature. It also helps the plot of the opening scene, which is based around her magic and the spell from the spell book.

BOURTON PARK In Bourton park, there is a river stream and a gazebo. We wanted to use these locations in the montage of her creating the potion. The river would be used by her filling up a potion bottle with the water and the gazebo would be the main place she would mix all the ingredients. When outside creating the potion It creates a more realistic idea that she is magic and the elements of nature around her make it seem more fairy-like and mythical.

STOWE GARDENS

We chose Stowe gardens because the garden area would visually represent a fantasy forest well. Also, there are many old buildings and temples which help emphasise that the other realm he has been transported to is a completely different time and setting.
