Little Mix Campaign. Sony Music As usual, one half of the studio spent every Saturday night watching this year's X Factor, so we were very pleased to be given the job of developing the brand for 2011's winners, Little Mix. Our collaborative way of working saw the us and the band getting stuck in with the branding process. Developing the marketing approach of 'there are two sides to every Little Mix story' for Syco Music, we aimed to harness the bands' popularity from the show and constantly showcase them as not just pop stars, but also real girls. Their high activity across social media meant we had a really strong platform of content to work with, so when it came to working on the website concept we wanted to this to feature as much as possible. The website is optimised for all platforms, and features a 'Mix it Up' device, which allows fans to change the content shown at the top of the site as well as the page colourways upon the click of a button. Across the rest of the campaign we created a brand kit which contained logos, graphic styles, typefaces and icons which represented each band member. This gave us a flexible platform of elements which could easily be applied across the vast range of media and merchandise needed for the band.

We worked with photographer Bella Howard for the colour-themed photoshoot which was then developed into the artwork for their Number 1 single 'Wings'.
