SummaryIn this report we look at the fan counts, posting habits, engagement levels, and content themes of the top soft drink brands in the US. We’ll analyze 5 category leaders: Chobani, Fage, Yoplait, Oikos Greek Yogurt, and Stonyfield.Highlights

❖ The largest network account among all these brands is Fage’s Facebook account with 1.25 million fans, closely followed by Yoplait.

❖ Instagram is the fastest growing network, averaging a nearly 9% increase. ❖ All brands appear to be promoting their posts on Facebook. Facebook is also the

leader in engagement for this period.

How fans are distributed across the social networksChobani is the industry leader in total fan count across all networks. Excluding Twitter, Chobani is dominating every network.It’s also interesting that on average, Pinterest has almost as many total fans as Instagram.

How fan growth is distributed across the social networksStonyfield is the frontrunner in fan growth for this period, driven primarily by their high fan growth on Facebook.Growth rates on Instagram dominate all other networks for all brands.

How fans are engaging across the social networksFacebook stands out as the network where engagement is happening for these brands. It is interesting to note that Chobani fans are engaging at nearly the same level on Facebook and Instagram, despite Instagram having approximately one tenth of the Facebook fan count.
