What trends in outsourcing have you noticed developing in your area of work?

• A lot of online jobs are now made available in our country, and through these online jobs like oDesk a lot of employers hire their contractors. These hires for agreement are becoming an outsourcing way. Outsourcing has not affected our country that much yet, because normally employers are from the West. Some of the employers prefer natives on their own land to do their work.

What are the most important considerations an employer should have when planning these types of projects?

• The only thing that I really wanted to improve in outsourcing business is gaining the rights of the original writers. If you plan to own the rights of the original author you should increase the payment of the contractor. They deserve it after all.

What are some guidelines and/or best practices that will ensure project success?

• Make sure to give all the guidelines and requirements that are needed.

• Don't let the contractors think more of what should be done on the project.

• Give all the necessary details your contractor must know. • Always remind your contractors of the deadlines and give due praise and credits. Establish a healthy relationship with your contractors.

What are the most common risks involved with outsourcing projects related to your area of expertise?

• Cases on plagiarism are the most grievous threat writer’s face. Of all the tons of articles registered in the copyright centres who knows whether somebody already did something very similar to your work?

• What will you do if your employers say that your work is plagiarised even if it is really not?

• What if your employers did not like your work and asked for a refund?

• These are the common risks involved in this type of writing.

What are common milestones or project phases in this area of outsourced work?

• I first start with the outline of my project and then fill out or expand out the information needed for each outline.

• I make sure to devise my own deadline a day before the real deadline so that I can meet my employer's deadline very well.
