TOWING SAFETY BRIEF
• The following is a short safety brief on some tips to follow when trying to tow out a stuck vehicle.
When preparing to tow another vehicle, always ensure your strap is securely connected
Always consult your partner when backing your tow vehicle
When pushing the towed vehicle, stay clear of spinning tires and flying debris
To prevent heat exhaustion, take frequent breaks
When stuck in the mud at the lake, footwear (preferable 6” heels) is recommended
And always, always use the buddy system
Consult with your spotter when backing
Keep your driver safe and clean by closing the door.
Driver and spotter should check for proper clearance at the rear of the vehicle
Check your partner’s rear end and undercarriage clearance
Advise your driver on which way to turn her wheel
